AI-Gen is born from the observation that microfluidics systems, although technically very advanced, are not very user-friendly and could be simpler to operate. It aims at bringing the droplet technology to new users with no engineering/technical background by:


• Automate the system with AI

• Provide a one-click control for the system

• Focus on what is important for the user (droplet size) and not the technical aspects (pressure, flow rate).



AI-Sort


AI-Sort is an intelligence droplet system. It is developed for real-time label free sorting of particles in a droplet. With the integration of machine learning techniques, droplets containing various amount of particles can be classified at high frequency (1000fps) and with minimal human intervention. It enables a label-free system that achieves up to 98.85% accuracy in droplets sorting at 260Hz. It is an example on how machine learning can be applied in droplet microfludics as it achieves real-time analysis and sorting of droplets which would be highly desireable in many biomedical applications.
